Vaner A. Ellison

Vaner A. Ellison enlisted in the Army February 26, 1941, Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and section hand with Company A of the 729th Railway Operations Battalion in Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Ellison was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged November 24, 1945, Camp McCoy, Wis.
