Vernon S. Patterson

Vernon S. Patterson of Duluth, Minnesota entered the Navy on Oct. 13, 1942.

He was a Yeoman 2nd Class, performing personnel and transportation work in seven Continental United States locations.

He said: "I was the last man to be replaced by a WAVE at the Cincinnati office of Naval Officer Procurement except for the commanding officer."

Mr. Patterson was discharged on Feb. 9, 1946.
