Victor Malenius

Victor A. Malenius of Eveleth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 29, 1941.

He was a Private First Class and dental technician with the Anti-Tank Company, 394th Infantry Regiment in the Pacific. He participated in Guadalcanal campaign and served in the European Theater.

Mr. Malenius received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with a bronze battle star, European-African-Middle East Campaign  Medal, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on Oct. 8, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
