Vincent D. Zoretic

Vincent D. Zoretic enlisted in the Regular Army on January 7, 1946, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and rifleman with Company E of the 506th Airborne Infantry Regiment.

He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal (Germany).

Mr. Zoretic was honorably discharged on January 6, 1949, at Camp Breckenridge, Kentucky.

He reenlisted in the Regular Army on January 7, 1949. He served as a Sergeant with Company C of the 67th Medium Tank Battalion.

Mr. Zoretic was honorably discharged on May 15, 1950, at Fort Hood, Texas.

He reenlisted again in the Regular Army on May 16, 1950 at Fort Hood, Texas. He served as a Sergeant First Class (T) with Headquarters Battery of the 504th Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion.

He was awarded the following: Korean Service Medal with three bronze battle stars and United Nations Service Medal.

Mr. Zoretic was honorably discharged on April 30, 1953, at Percy Jones Army Hospital, Battle Creek, Michigan.
