Vincent M. Globokar

Vincent M. Globokar of Biwabik, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on June 23, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Staff Sergeant and Quartermaster supply technician with Company B of the 68th Armored Infantry in Algeria, French Morocco, Tunisia, Sicily, Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.

Mr. Globokar was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Army Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with bronze service arrowhead, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 28, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
