Waino G. Maki

Waino G. Maki entered the Army on May 2, 1942.

He served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Company E of the 561st Signal Air Warning Battalion in Tunisia, Africa; and Rome-Arno and Po Valley, Italy.

Mr. Maki was awarded the: European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars and World War II Victory Medal

He was separated on October 9, 1945.
