Waino W. Makkyla

Mr. Makkyla served in World War II.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1943 until 1946 as a radar operator.

He was born on June 21, 1924, in Waasa Township, Minnesota, to John and Hilma (Lakso) Makkyla. He graduated from Embarrass High School in 1942.

Mr. Makkyla died at age 75 on September 30, 1999, in Embarrass, Minnesota.
