Walter Frensko

Walter Frensko was inducted into the Army May 25, 1943, Fort Snelling, Minn. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minn.

He served as a Private First Class and locomotive engineer with Company B of the 726th Railway Operations Battalion in the China-Burma-India Theater.

Mr. Frensko was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He reenlisted in the Regular Army on September 23, 1946, Fort Snelling. He served as a military policeman in the continental United States

He received a disability discharge on December 2, 1948, at the Percy Jones General and Convalescent Hospital in Battle Creek, Mich.
