Warner N. Skifstrom

Warner N. Skifstrom was inducted into the Army on June 4, 1944, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. 

He served as a Sergeant and welder with the 1640th Engineer Utility Detachment in the Southern Philippines (Liberation).

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Japan), two overseas service bars, and Philippine Liberation Medal.

He was honorably discharged on May 15, 1946.
