Wayne I Sarberg

Wayne I. Sarberg entered the Army on June 13, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Aurora, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and bulldozer operator with Company C of the 830th Engineer Aviation Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Sarberg received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and six overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged October 11, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
