Wayne J. White

Wayne J. White was inducted into the Army on August 7, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. 

Mr. White served as a Staff Sergeant and squad leader with the 377th Infantry Regiment in Rhineland. He was wounded in action on December 9, 1944, in Germany.

He received the following: Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, and World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. White was honorably discharged on August 28, 1945.
