Wilbert N. Ranta

Wilbert N. Ranta of Virginia, Minnesota enlisted in the Naval Reserve on September 12, 1942.

He served as a Mailman 2nd Class in the United States and aboard the aircraft carrier USS Antietam in the European Theater.

He was awarded the following: European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal, American Campaign Service Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Ranta was honorably discharged on April 6, 1946.
