Willard E. Carlson

Mr. Carlson served in World War II in the South Pacific Theater.

He served in the Army National Guard while working as a bottler for Fitger’s Brewery in Duluth and later at Mathisen Tire Company. After a few months he was deployed into active duty.

Mr. Carlson was born July 21, 1919 in Duluth, Minnesota to Chris and Lydia (Johansen) Carlson. He died May 12, 2007.
