William Andrew Neva

William Andrew Neva was inducted into the Army on April 30, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Cook, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and truck driver with Headquarters Company in the X Army Corps in the Southern Philippines and New Guinea.

Mr. Neva was awarded the following: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, Philippines Liberation Medal with two bronze stars, and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 16, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
