William D. Froehlingsdorf

William D. Froehlingsdorf of Virginia, Minn. entered the Army Air Corps.

He served as a 2nd Lieutenant iand pilot.

On May 15, 1942, while on routine patrol, his twin-engine army bomber plunged into Humboldt Bay in Calif. and carried all of its seven occupants with it.
