William E. Maki

William E. Maki entered the Army on Feb. 14, 1942.

He was a Master Sergeant and administrative non-commissioner officer with Headquarters Detachment, 12th Army Group. He served in northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Maki was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with a silver battle star (representing five campaigns), American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Aug. 14, 1945 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
