William J. Lynott, Jr served in World War II in the U.S. Army Air Force Radio Operations in England and France. He was discharged in November 1945.

His rank was Sergeant. He was a Radio Operator and Mechanic with the 315th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron.

Mr. Lynott was born on May 9, 1922, in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of William James, Sr., and Claire Dillon.

Mr Lynnot died on February 23, 2008.

William J. Lynott of Duluth entered the Army Air Corps in December 1942. He was a sergeant, a radio operator and a mechanic with the 315th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron in the European Theater in England, France and Germany. He was discharged in November, 1945.
