William Zbacnik

William Zbacnik entered the Army on November 17, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Carson Lake, Minnesota.

He served as a Private and carpenter with Headquarters Company Island Command in the Pacific Theater.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal.

Mr. Zbacnik was Issued a Certificate of Disability and was honorably discharged on  March 24, 1945, at Percy Jones General and Convalescent Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan
