Woodrow Risberg

Woodrow Risberg of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on August 14, 1943.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and carpenter with Company F, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division in the Southern Philippines and Ryukyu Islands.

Mr. Risberg received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with 2 bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal with 2 bronze stars, World War II Victory Medal, and 3 overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Jan. 25, 1946.
