Edwin A. Lyons

Edwin A. Lyons (Lewandowicz) of Duluth entered the Navy on February 18, 1943.

He was a radio technician first class in the Pacific Theater. He was assigned to the ACORN 52 (amphibious unit) installing transmitter and receiver equipment in the Truk group.

He raised the flag on the island of Moen, Truk, after the Japanese surrender.

He was separated on May 20, 1946.
